Week 6
This week in science we did many different things, Wednesday was a pretty busy day for us in class! We did many different things like share our findings from our assignments last week, checked on the newly hatched butterflies, checked on our fast growing plants, and cross pollinate with some bees! Along with these hands on activities, we also read a book about sea turtles, did a fortune teller activity that determined if our turtle survived on its own in the wild, and a work sheet that broke down how these factors can harm and help turtles.
This week there were not a lot of things that I did not understand. I actually really enjoyed the lab this week and got all the concepts that were presented to us. I like the way that we broke things down this week. I also enjoyed our in class discussion about the lesson plans we modified. I also like the game that we played in class to help us better understand how turtles go through many struggles to survive in the wild.
In class this week, I also really enjoyed getting to see the progress of our butterflies and plants.
We also used the bee on a stick to cross pollinate with the other flowers in our grid.
After this, we learned a lot about sea turtles and how they go through many struggles in nature. We played a game that challenged us to try and survive, along with a work sheet that helped us break down the different factors that help and harm seas turtles and their survival.

Hi Oksana, I also really liked being able to see our butterflies hatch and I liked being able to pollinate our plants. The activity "Turtle, Turtle Watch out" I also really enjoyed doing in class!
