Week 7 blog, week 8 class

-What did you do in lab today?

In lab we watched and listened to presentations about the origin of earth, origin of the universe, black holes, lifecycles of stars, galaxies, and exploration of space: past, present, future. This was really fun learning from my peers. Our group did our presentation about the lifecycle of stars.

-What was the big question? (all big questions are posted below)

I think the big question of this week was if we could successfully teach our peers about those 6 different topics that were posted above. I also think that Ted did this to test our knowledge on what he's taught us already.

What did you learn in Thursday's discussion?

I learned a lot from Thursday discussion. I learned more about topics that we had talked about from Monday so this was a good refresher/ reminder. I also was really shocked/ interested to find out that the closest planet to us, that is possibly habitable, is 81,000 light years away from us. I also learned that Ted, and a lot of us, really believe in aliens because THEY ARE REAL, no way we are the only life forms in the whole infinite universe.
