Week 8 blog, week 9 class

-What did you do in lab today?

In lab this week we did an activity where we talked about the series of events that have occurred on earth since it was created. We had a time line posted up in the classroom and our job was to go to the time line and put where we though each event had happened in the timeline of earth. After we put our predictions onto the time line we went onto a website that gave us the break down of each period of time on earth. We also had to find 2-3 events on the timeline website to put on our time line in class. This was a really fun activity because we got to go in depth and learn more about these events on earth.

-What was the big question? (all big questions are posted below)

- I think that the big question this week is: Hypothesis when you think these things first happened

on earth:

1. Humans appeared (Homo Sapiens sapiens)

2. Dinosaurs ruled the earth

3. First land plants

4. First land animals

5. Moon was created

Place your answers on the timeline on the wall for each

of these events.

What did you learn in Thursday's discussion?

-TEST DAY, no lecture

TEXTBOOK

What did you learn?

I learned a lot of stuff, the most that I learned was from the pictures of the time line of events that have occurred on earth. I think it was the coolest thing that I learned too.

What was helpful?

The visuals that are provided in the textbook, they help visualize the events and how/ where they occurred on earth.

What do you need more information on?

I just want to know more about these events, I want to know more about dinosaurs and the evolution process that had happened with micro organisms into plants, animals, and human beings.

What question, comments, or concerns do you have?

none!
